Murray’s extensive research has revealed the origins of these resilient roses, many of which have been blooming for over a century. He has built a renowned collection of over 2,000 heritage varieties at Frendy Hill. This presentation will demonstrate the importance of these flowers as a vital part of our cultural heritage and their crucial role in our future. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just curious about the history of Central Otago, you’ll discover inspiring stories and a new appreciation for these beautiful connections to our past.
