My background and professional experience are in research and private consulting in the food and agriculture sectors. I have also held governance roles for 15 years, including board member and chair positions across the public and not-for-profit sectors. My perspective on museums is that of a lifelong, engaged visitor. I have always loved exploring the museum of any new town or city I visit to better understand its past, people, and culture, and to be surprised by fascinating and beautiful objects I never knew existed. Since moving to Central Otago four years ago, it has been a privilege to become involved in supporting our museums and the stories and collections they care for.
